A student of Patrick Tuohy’s at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art
and brother of the sculptor Lawrence Campbell, Christopher Campbell is best remembered as a figure painter and stained glass
artist. He worked for a period in Harry Clarke’s studio, and later taught art at the Kilkenny Technical School (1947-1951).
A regular exhibitor at the RHA, his only solo exhibition was held posthumously at the Neptune Gallery, Dublin, in 1976.
